1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the hosting services offered by WP in EU at wpineu.com, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not use our services.

By using our services, you acknowledge that you are at least 16 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement under applicable EU law.

2. Service Description

WP in EU provides free WordPress hosting intended primarily for educational, personal learning, testing, and non-commercial purposes. The service allows users to host WordPress-based websites on EU-based servers.

Important notice: WP in EU is not affiliated, associated, authorized, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with WordPress.com, WordPress.org, or Automattic Inc. The official WordPress websites are wordpress.com and wordpress.org. “WordPress” is a registered trademark of the WordPress Foundation. Any use of the WordPress software by WP in EU is under the GPL license.

3. Eligibility

Use of our services is restricted to:

  • Legal residents of any European Union member state
  • EU citizens residing within EU territory
  • Students currently studying in the EU
  • Individuals with legal residence or valid visa status within EU territory

Each user is allowed one active account. Multiple accounts by the same individual may lead to suspension or consolidation. Organizations, companies, or commercial entities are not eligible for free hosting.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use WP in EU hosting only for lawful and ethical purposes, specifically:

  • Learning and experimenting with WordPress
  • Educational or training projects
  • Personal portfolio or non-commercial web presence
  • Demonstration, testing, or practice in web development

You agree to respect our community standards, fair use limits, and other users’ experience on the platform.

5. Prohibited Activities

You may not use our hosting services for:

  • Any commercial, affiliate, or monetized websites
  • Uploading or distributing malware, phishing, or spam
  • Hosting or linking to illegal, infringing, or defamatory content
  • Promoting or sharing adult, pornographic, or gambling materials
  • Engaging in hacking, network abuse, or resource exhaustion
  • Using WP in EU to impersonate brands, companies, or other individuals
  • Any activities violating European Union law or local regulations

Violations may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination without prior notice.

6. Account Responsibilities

You, as the account holder, are solely responsible for:

  • Protecting your login credentials and passwords
  • Monitoring all activities conducted through your account
  • Ensuring that your content and actions comply with these Terms
  • Creating and maintaining independent backups of your website data
  • Keeping your contact and registration details accurate and up to date

WP in EU is not responsible for lost or deleted data, or for any damages resulting from compromised credentials.

7. Service Limitations

The free hosting plan includes the following resources:

  • 1 GB NVMe SSD storage
  • 100GB bandwidth under a fair use policy
  • One hosted domain or subdomain per account
  • Email, live chat, ticket or Community-based support (no guaranteed response time)

To ensure fair resource allocation, WP in EU may limit CPU, RAM, or I/O usage when necessary. Excessive or abusive consumption of resources may lead to account throttling or suspension.

8. Data and Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. WP in EU adheres to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and all applicable European privacy laws.

We collect minimal personal data, including:

  • Account registration information (email, username, country)
  • Website usage statistics for system performance and abuse prevention
  • Server logs (IP addresses, access times, errors) for security and compliance

All personal and technical data are stored exclusively in EU-based data centers and never transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA).

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. You have the right to request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at administraktor@protonmail.com.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime and reliable performance across our hosting infrastructure. However, WP in EU does not guarantee uninterrupted service. Temporary disruptions may occur due to:

  • Scheduled maintenance or upgrades
  • Hardware or network failures
  • External cyber incidents or unforeseen technical issues

Planned maintenance will be announced in advance whenever possible. We are not liable for any damages or losses resulting from downtime, interruptions, or data loss.

10. Termination

WP in EU reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate any account that:

  • Violates these Terms of Service
  • Consumes excessive resources affecting other users
  • Hosts prohibited, harmful, or illegal content
  • Remains inactive for extended periods (over 90 days)

We may, at our sole discretion, delete inactive or non-compliant accounts without prior notice to preserve server efficiency.

11. Limitation of Liability

Our services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

WP in EU, its administrators, and partners shall not be held liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Data loss, service interruption, or unauthorized access
  • Damages resulting from third-party software or plugins used on your site

Users assume full responsibility for the use of the service and any risks associated with it.

12. Changes to Terms

We may revise or update these Terms from time to time to reflect service improvements, legal compliance, or policy changes. Updates will be published on wpineu.com with the latest effective date.

Your continued use of the service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
